  5. What is it?
  6. An Instant Messaging tool. It is a replacement of MSN Messenger, the buggy, unstable program from Microsoft.

  8. Why Mac Messenger and why not MSN Messenger?

  10. Mac Messenger has some advantages to MSN Messenger:
  11. * Uses 4 times less memory! Only 1,5 MB! MSN Messenger consumes about 6 MB!
  12. * Is TWICE as fast!
  13. * Is TWICE as simple!
  14. * Is very stable!
  15. * Is FREE!
  16. * Lets you know when other close your IM window!
  17. * See when people close your window
  18. * Built-in phone book
  19. * Millions of font colors
  20. * View server chat for the real freaks
  21. * Skins
  22. * Contact Manager (bÅta)

  24. A little note about the skins:
  25. To create your own skin, change the picture files in the "Skins" folder.
  26. Use PICT, JPG or GIF files only. Other formats are not supported.
  27. Be careful! JPG files load slower than PICT or GIF files.
  28. If possible, don't use JPG files.
